How do you know you don't need to read a message unless you've read it?
Because they are standard systems messages that are sent to everyone at the same time every day. Very few people actually need to read them but it's easier to divert them than getting you name taken off the list.
What made me smile today? - seeing my son get off the bus with his friends, two days into starting his senior school, successfully and carefully negotiating the busy roads around Clacton Railway Station - so grown up (and yes I had driven and parked near the school and was hiding to ensure that they remembered to get off the bus and that they were all OK - silly I know but very proud dad!)

Well, you learn something every day.... But I was really just making a joke.

Nice, isn't it. My son started secondary school this week. Luckily, it's even closer than the primary school, which itself is only half a mile away - but now he doesn't have to cross any major roads, just pick up his mate from round the corner, then trundle through a park to get there. They grow up quickly, don't they? I remember when this used to be all fields... mumble... mumble...
My sons school is much further and he had never been on the bus on his own until yesterday - fortunately it was his friend that left his bag on the bus not my son!
Waking up without any aches or pains and knowing that age may be catching up with me, but today I shall be able to run a few more miles to keep it at bay for another day
Obviously some of you don't understand the concept of *what made you smile* go bitch about people on other threads it's fucking tedious. You are are like a bunch of whining kids, grow the fuck up. yes I am sober so your stupid standard retort of ohh she must be drunk will not wash.
The fact that I ran 5k to see if my chest infection had gone and was pleasantly surprised to find it has. HM on Sunday maybe back on if only this Achilles will behave.
