Have I overcooked it?!

Morning all

Bit of advice please.

I generally run anything up to 10k, but have signed up for the Bath Half Marathon on the 1 March, so have been upping my mileage,

I did 9.5 miles on Sunday, and when I went to the gym last night and tried to run on the treadmill, (planning to run a 10K), I had no energy especially in my legs.

Is this normal??

Yes you were trying to do your old normal mileage a day after doing (I assume) your longest run for some considerable time. Just give your legs a day off after a long run or some light slow running.

Plus, I'm guessing on a treadmill you tried to run at a usual pace. If you'd run outside you would naturally run slower on a recovery day and maybe not notice the lack of energy so much.
