Please please please remember the poles..... we don't want you sleeping alfresco in your supporter kit.... It would put me off my porridge in the morning.
lets be honest.... its all prep for an Ironman on my 100th birthday
Just going to say thank you all for doing the feed station at the weekend. I will look forward to seeing you all when I am totally hanging out on the bike! Cheers
Yes I will also thank you all now, as I might think you're all a bunch of nasty sarcastic bastards when I'm passing you, particularly the second time round. I expect top quality banter, we have a reputation to uphold.
Just a quick word to Barlos to thank you and Schmunks for great organisation and morale boosting on the feed station - Anders and I had a really super weekend, and enjoyed every moment on the feed station. We felt like yourself and OSB really looked after the volunteers - free camping, bacon butties / drinks, gifts, T-shirt and then free food afterwards as well. Blimey!
The finishing chute at the end was just fab - great atmosphere.
Anders is inspired, and completely thrilled with his bottle opener keyring
am I inspired? Shall I dust off my bike? well maybe - I'll just go for a run first ...
Thanks for all the pirates that helped on the free station had a great weekend Barlos and Schmuks thanks for all your hard work And thanks to Little teapot
A massive thank you to all those that helped out with the feedstation yesterday, its a real team effort and hard work filling, handling bottles, moving boxes etc etc.
Clearly from the feedback all our efforts were extremely well received and appreciated.
Special mention to Button Muchroom, Teapot 1 & Scmunks for organising admin, bacon, tea's and coffee's etc
Also a special mention to moms and dads, the kids of all ages were fantastic, I hope they enjoyed themselves.
Last of all, feedback.
One or two passed comments about OSB and how things could be better next year, I also have a few items to raise.
If there is anything you would like me to raise on your behalf please mention here of contact if you would rather raise privately then feel free to do so. I'll email OCB with all comments later in the week.
Hey firstly thank you to everyone for that, there was a really good vibe and it massively helped on the race. The lass who gave me pork pies was a god send. All of your efforts were appreciated.
As usual another rewarding day out at the feed station. Special thanks to FF for the weekends entertainment, and Teapot1 for doing the impossible and organising 47 (?) Pirates for a meal on Saturday night - you are a miracle worker
Don't think I'll be able to eat Nachos every again!!
But thanks to everyone else for doing the usual great job. Special thanks to Persil (small and mighty!) for doing a great job organising dinner (or rather organising 50 Pirates to be at the right place at the right time!) and for the Boobies
Only feedback I have Carl is that a lot of the athletes are numpties and don't call out what they want at the feedstation and I hate to see anyone missing out.
If they can reiterate this at the athlete briefing. If they don't ask - they are unlikely to get the right drink/food/whatever. We aren't psychic.

I can bring my workstand up if someone wants to take that along?

Top work you lot. Once again the best feed station by a large margin, and all the feed stations were brilliant.
See you next year!
For organising dinner
Thanks also to Paperman, Paperwife and Paperboy for taking Mrs Cheggers and Cheggers Jnr to and from the feed station - very much appreciated
Thanks from here too.... Mrs MC, and both Jr MCs had a fabulous time, and are very keen to do it again next year
Thanks to all who worked on the feed station, young, old and of course Nacho Libre.
Your support and bottle handling was epic!
Also thanks to Schmunks, Barlos for organising. Teapot 1 (Persil) for sorting dinner and Button mushroom for feeding me.

We were told quite clearly at the briefings to shout out what we wanted. We're all just thick and ignorant :P
