All new to this Marathon training so any honest advice would be good
I have an easy recovery week coming up in my training plan at the beginning of Feb, that also coincides with a holiday (bit of winter sun!!).
Now normally this would be good, but I had planned to take advantage of the holiday to do some longer runs in warmer weather rather than the cold and dark it currently is in the UK.
Would it be OK to switch the easy week to after the holiday, or am I in danger of injuring myself with too much exercise?

You can switch if it is early in the plan, but in such cases I prefer to schedule an extra week into the plan so that anything I run or train in the holiday week is a bonus.
The Holiday/easy recovery week is about 10 weeks out from Marathon, so I guess I will be OK?
