    Morning!

    Lyrics: no

Hope the gas man cometh, RFJ!

    Trust you are ok, Wabo!

What: also to be decided. Probably 25 minutes or so this evening.

Why: legs will decide after three relatively hard days.

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

    Morning.

Yesterday's lyrics - Trynna Find My Way by Nelly Furtado.

Enjoy whatever you decide to do Ollie.

    Take it easy Alehouse.

Hope you're feeling better this morning Wabo.

They are forecasting winds gusting up to 40mph for Sunday - could make Ashby 'interesting':-(

    What:             easy or MLR
Why:              will depend how the legs feel when I get going
Last hard:      not having a friend to meet for coffee and cake this afternoon
    Last rest:       25/2

    Lyrics - no.
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Morning
Sounds nasty Wabo. As LmH says, better to get it checked if it's causing discomfort.
    What - very little
Why - hard double yesterday. Out at lunchtime with work pals, so ~7 miles including some of Greenwich Park's inclines. In between pace was fine (5.30 ks) but pushed the slopes. Evening opted for 800s instead of Ks (easier loop in the village rather than tack on 100 'out and back'). 5 quality ones, hanging on the last.
last rest - today will be next to nothing (coaching the U11s so will be a mile or two easy on the track to loosen up)
    last hard - yesterday
    lyric - no idea

Ouch, wabo. Hope you feel better.

    Good speed work, Dustin.

LMH: Hope your legs are playing ball.

    Impressive streak, Ollie.

What: 10 miles (longest run since injury, i. e. April 2016)
Why: it was a nice morning and I felt like it
Last hard: left adductor seems to be playing up. Not another injury, pleeease  :o  :D
    Last rest: 17/2
    Lyrics: no

Good news in that you have a diagnosis ,  Wabo. And the streak remains! And you didn't pay! One good thing about my age is you don't pay for prescriptions. You do pay for the dentist though .

Good afternoon all. Glad you god diagnosed and scripted. LMH, hope you got going. Dustin...rest.
    Lyrics: Nope
What: 3.6 briskish hilly with colleague

    Last Hard: definitely yesterday

Chiropodist tonight to prepare feet for the weekend. Got to look after those feet

Doubt the dental diagnosis. More likely to be cervical nerve entrapment. Sinus pain does not radiate to shoulder and neck by and large.

what: group run if I finish on time.
    why: working until 6pm
    last hard: Monday
    last rest: yesterday
    lyrically inept as usual

aoh, oo what does that mean I need though?  That is a worry I cannot do a half marathon with this pain on Sunday

OH, the pain is mainly in my face though and the side of my head - yesterday it was under the jaw and my shoulder felt heavy.

A miracle before Sunday if OH is correct I'm afraid Wabo.

I did thank you SC. Legs were much more cooperative than yesterday <<phew>>

    Sounds sensible Poppy.

Alehouse - I may have found a 10k which fits in with the weekend away though it is on trails and not exactly flat - could still be fun as my first LV50 race though.

Hope you get finished in time OH. Not long to go now!

I don't think it's that LMH it isn't a shoulder thing its really in the face so I can't see how? Unless I am not understanding - I do feel dopey so it wouldn't surprise me!

Would be a fun way to celebrate a new age group, LMH

Unfortunately I can offer no medical advice, Wabo

Yesterday you said that it was in your neck and radiating down your arm Wabo. If it's confined to your head it's more likely to be sinus.

Apart from the fact that I'm not supposed to run hills, but then it's more undulating. Are you doing those glute exercises Alehouse?

Missed the group (or no one else turned up) and I wimped out of running in 5C, high wind and heavy rain by myself  :|

Don't pay for prescriptions in the People's Republic of Scotland either ;)

still think isolated pain severe enough to hinder your running without associated nasal symptoms is unlikely to be sinusitis.
However facial pain is a complex subject and has many causes (migraine variants, trigeminal neuralgia ... and a large number without defined cause)

    Evening!

    What: just an easy 4k

Why: being sensible after three hard days

LMH: yes, doing some glute exercises, but only introducing them gradually until after the 31st. Need to incorporate a more consistent strength regime into the next cycle of training. Sadly! Not my favourite part of running but suspect that as we get older it becomes a more important part.

For various reasons I am thinking of moving to Scotland. I don't think that I will be alone in thinking this.
