I am a newbie.
My first race day is Sunday, I'm running the Frome Half Marathon and in order to try and alleviate some of my nerves and trepidation, I've been spending some time thinking of what to pack in my 'race bag'. So far I have:
Trainers (I'm Cornish and will be wearing flip-flops whilst travelling. I think it's law).
Isotonic Gels.
Water.
Lip Balm.
Sunscreen.
Long sleeved running jacket.
Snack for after run (Banana and musli bar, or the equivalent).
Change for parking etc.
I can't think of anything else. Can someone cast an experienced eye over my list, please? Is there something I should be bringing that I haven't thought about?
Thanks!!

Plasters for nipples (assuming you're a bloke)
Safety pins for number (probably provided though)
Plasters if you are prone to blisters
Spare socks, shorts, underwear are a good idea, I wouldn't want to sit around in sweaty stuff long post race.
Maybe even an empty bottle (ideally wide-mouthed?) in case you get caught short pm the start line.
Bin bag for start line if weather could be iffy (maybe an old jumper as well?)
