Saturday 21st October 2017 - You are all the woman I need and baby you know it

Morning.

Lyrics - You are all the woman I need and baby you know it

Not your fault if folk don't control their dogs OH but I hope it was ok.

Enjoy your break Alehouse.

I know I 'should' do the strength work the question is whether I'm going to make the time and find the money - I need to be in the gym so it's not just a case of running less and it's not something I enjoy.

Obviously still catching up from the holiday as slept in this morning thus missing Brass Monkey entries, I'm sure I needed the sleep more than a January half marathon. In-laws coming for lunch tomorrow - will be the first time we've seen them.

What:            Run with P
Why:             He's really keen
Last hard:     Sleeping last night
Last rest:      15/10
If you think you can or you think you can't you're probably right.

    Morning!

    Lyrics: no

Yesterday's were No Milk Today, Herman's Hermits

Can't believe Brass Monkey sold out so quickly, LMH!

    Off to the airport shortly.

What: may well be little more than stretches

Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Rest day today (other than swim later) after yesterday's long run.
Grey wet and horrible this morning
    last hard: yesterday
    last rest: Monday
    Lyrics no

Enjoy your trip AH (where's it to this time - seem to have missed that)

Yesterday was make or break for GO33. Managed what I set out to do so GO33 is on but likely to be slow and hard.

    Hiya
Emz - hope you're feeling better today
Wabo - Glad you hit gofundme target
    Ale - safe trip
OH - can't do anything about dogs running off, so no need to worry. I'm sure the owner wouldn't have it off it's lead if it wasn't under control...

What - 10 miles d&d over fields with some bonus hills and mud
With GSR cancelling events today I was expecting some brutal weather. It was lovely and sunny....
why - all about the base (building)
    last rest - 11/9
    last hard - Tuesday
    yesterday was another 8 (trail)

Afternoon from a very warm Ibiza. Blue skies and mid 20s.
Seems a world away from the damp greyness that I left.

Well done on the 100th SC. I'm stuck on 87 I think.
Progress is rarely a straight line. There are always bumps in the road, but you can make the choice to keep looking ahead.

Dustin I know I expected it to be awful conditions yet it is just windy.

    Congrats SC. 100 parkruns. Wow.

LMH: it's time and money well spent I'd say. As we get older we need to counterbalance the stresses that running puts on our tendons and joints.

    Oh: sounds positive

Enjoy Ibiza, ale. 13 degrees and rain here this afternoon. Morning was ok though.

    What: another 5 miles
    Why: body said yes
Last hard: stopping at 5 and being sensible
Last rest: 15/10 (I wrote rubbish yesterday - had totally forgotten my lazy return from hold last Sunday)
    Lyrics: no

10 minutes run in bits...with no part longer than a minute. Ran on the prom and still 20 degrees at 7pm. Sitting by the pool cooling the Achilles.

P's longest ever run - 17 miles - at a pace that would easily get him a GFA if he could replicate it in a marathon. I've created a monster:-)
