Missed training runs

I'm trying to work out how much of an effect the 5 training runs I've missed so far in my first 13 weeks of training.  Luckily none have been any of the long runs but 2 have been hill workouts and a couple of threshold runs and an easy run. I normally run 5 days a week and was aiming for 3.15-3.25.

Should I readjust my time target or will the consistency of the other runs mean I haven't lost too much?..

Training runs are missed sometimes, it happens, don't focus on it too much.  Racing is the test of where your fitness is, the number of sessions completed isn't.

From personal experience I can say that you don´t loose much as long as you get the long run in every week.

And if you calculate the total mileage you should have done in those 13 weeks and remove the 5 missed runs you will probably find that they only make up a tiny percentage of the total. So I think there will be no problem to stay with the time target.
