In my spare time when im not running im helping to set up a seal and marine mammal rescue unit. We opened our doors for business last night.
Tim, Hope youve forgiven me for getting completely confused over the hyperlink mystery message poster thing. Actually i don't know how i found this website.............. I think i will change my nickname to "permanently confused".
er Hockey (Hi WP -where did you play? - )playing it - and im on a number of committe things - club league and county and run fixtures competions and leagues - so that keeps me busy!
watching most sports on tv - footy when Arsenal win and Manu lose and especially when the gooners beat manU!
athletics - like the sprints and throws more than distance - but love watching paula of course!
cycling and tri - probably for similar reasons to JJ - nice bods esp quads!
most sports apart from truck pulling and golf (oh the joys of Eurosport)
swimming and the gym - especially rowing
reading surfing (the net) music (love to boogie) eating choxsexshopping
Enjoy watching athletics on tv and in real, especially the longer events. Also enjoy watching cross country skiing, tri, cycling, tennis, some footy and a few other sports if and when I have the time.
Apart from running I enjoy, swimming, cycling, reading, playing on the pc!, aromatherapy, listening to music, studying, clothes shopping!, jigsaw puzzles, socialising & RELAXING.
hill runner you have nothing to worry about. Your seal and marine mammal rescue unit thing sounds quite interesting. Where are you based perhaps I might visit on my travels sometime.
check out our website http://www.bdmlr.org.uk (British Divers Marine Life Rescue) Our new seal unit is based at Broughty Ferry castle, Broughty Ferry, Dundee.
My interests are similar to a lot of people's here but with some that no-one else has so far put:
- I love music, especially dance music and clubbing but I'm also part of the manchester universities' orchestra (i'm a tenor in their choir) and play several instruments too.
- quite obviously a lot of my interests are work-related; i love target shooting (both service rifle and civilian) and love hill walking, trekking, etc.
- I'm also an amateur cartoonist of dubious quality; I'm getting a graphics tablet soon as my latest toy
- And (how sad is this?) I maintain an interest in astrophysics, partially cos of uni but also because I am a secret geek
The moooooooooooooooooooooooooment that you stepped into the room you took my breath awaaaay (-a-aaaaaaaaaa-a-aaaaaaaaaaa-a-aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-a-a-a-a-a-aaaaaaaaaaaay)
Likes apart from running? The beautiful game, although as a Notts County fan it's not often that it's remotely beautiful. Music - too wide a range to mention, but hear-say, girls aloud, one true voice et al I don't class as music. Growing and maintaining bonsai. Beer. Women. Not necessarily in this order!
Well, I suppose you could call it a like, when the sun's out, a gentle breeze and a little something in the hand (that's a bottle of Smirnoff!!) I'm referring really to Mr S's hobby - sailing. It's great when it's not tippy uppy. Sadly that's how he likes it best, but it takes me a while to get me sea legs. Am usually alright after 24 hours though.
