OOOHHH Champion. You,ve made my night.Any gooduns near to the Spa? And whats the night life like Wed and Thurs? I hope to go running Wed and Thurs, probably after 4.00pm. Would that suit you if you came out for a run?
Sounds good-will have a think about runs near the Spa....there is one that you can do from there that takes you along the seafront butyou will be tourist dodging...unless we go up through the gardens onto the esplanade......mmmmmm..have a think. The spa isn't actually that far away from hotels on the south bay.
Aye-nee bother.I,ll run anywhere. Can I leave it in your capable hands?? When I find out about the digs,we should get a better idea where we can run from.EEEEEE I,m reet excited now.
A pint of guinness for you??? I was in the Boys Brigade when I was a bairn.Great days, got all my badges[6]I think!!My blue hat with the white belt going accross from my shoulder[aye those were the days]not so long back.
Your orange juice and lemonade are paid for. They,ll be waiting for you after the run.
My belt was always shiney-even took it with me when I joined the Royal Navy, but the sods took it off me.I did get it back but lost it in transit, where i dont know.
Thanks Mick-the orange juice sounds good indeed. I used to drink Guiness but now cant touch alcohol.
I have a nice black officers belt with silver buckle )
Right time this little Princess went off to bed as feel totally washed out now-think probably did a little too much today. Friday and yesterday must still be getting at me.
Night night all and Mick try not to get tooo excited!
Aye,goodnite all-I,m cream crackered.Bit of a lye in,on lates all next week. I cannot help but get excited!!! And to meet someone with a black belt, whos going to buy the ice creams!! Champion.
Thanks for the advice Sodahead, it's appreciated. I'm usually pretty good with the drinking, it is very hot up here at the moment too. The race is 5.7 miles I'm hoping for 48 mins, and if I can sneak under 45 I'll be one happy bunny.
Maybe even open a bottle:0) Well done indeed on yesterday's run.
Morning all, looks like another hot day here in the sunny north east, well done sodahead on your run at thirsk yesterday, it was hot when I went out early morning then just got hotter for the afternoon so you deserved that beer.
XL-man, I'm also doing Blaydon on wednesday night, I'm hoping to finish before caramac's power walking friends, mind theres a beer at the end of this one so theres some incentive if its still a hot evening. Run faster to get to the end before the beer runs out.
G,day everyone-All the very best to those doing the Blaydon Race.I,ll be thinking of you while i,m grafting.I,d much rather be doing the blaydon in my sunderland shirt than grafting, you never know i might have set a PB!!!!!
afternoon northern socialites, hope the blaydon race goes well, wish i could join you but ill be working as well so ill think of you instead! Just ran 12.5 miles in far too long but it was hot, no more now until sunday when i do norwich half!
Today, I have to admit to being a bit weary. Had an excellent 9 holes of golf before work - good for teasing the knots out of the legs. My recovery run at lunchtime was blessed with cloud cover but very slow. I think I ran the complete 6 mile loop with a grin on my face.
Back into proper training tomorrow.
Hello WildWill, I havn't done it so I cannot comment.

Cara, that's a good effort in this heat.

I hope the weather is kind to you.
Beer incentive, or running Blaydon in Red & White stripes, that would be an interesting contest if Mick wasn't stuck at work :0)
Fina day?
A very fine day indeed. How does it find you?
Princess are you still going to the lake district weekend?
