Going back to the original "Last Friday in the Month" theme, may I present a new venue?
The Blue Posts in Soho. Nice and central as Waterloo not great for everyone, excellent beer (Timothy Taylors "Landlord"), friendly owner and we can reserve an upstairs room. Plus it does food.
Hope this suits the majority, not everyone is going to make every social after all...

Main thing is - do they have space for a group of our size on a Friday night without it being ridiculously overcrowded?
MM may be too, not sure will ask.
Blue Posts sounds cool to me. Is that what you do to get a thread cazzed?
How is the Blue Posts with regards to loud music ? I'm thinking about how great the Firestation was until the music got cranked up.
The idea of our own room gets the thumbs up from me.
Venom - I was there a couple of weeks ago and checked out the room with the social in mind so I reckon it will be fine. It's got a bar as well so I'd have thought we'd have a dedicated bartender.
Staying sober though pre Windsor.... no honestly!
<sighs>.
I'll know nearer the time

(Oh and if you're interested I'm not at work today as I only had about 2 hours sleep last night due to having 2 cracked ribs and no pain killers.
Lesson of the weekend - don't mosh to Smells Like Teen Spirit with one guy who regularly goes to fancy dress parties as the hulk, and another who's nickname is "The Cornish Oak".
Ouch! :-)
Hope you feel better soon and manage to dose yourself up on painkillers, great things those!
Went to A & E this morning and no lung damage.
The doctor did some oxygen blood saturation test which apparently measures how effective you lungs are at getting oxygen in to your system and was saying his 96% was pretty good.
Not as good as my 100% though, so I guess this running lark might actually be good for me :-)

Won't be there. Have another commitment.

Do you believe in Dodge ?
I'm not so sure, but I did have a rather trippy hallucinogenic experience where he appeared to me and broke naan bread at a recent curry social. That's what happens when you have too much lime pickle.......
Said something about saving us from our bins....???
Looking forward to catching up, Rach!
