what is a little stupid is that this paper didn't require so much work as the one before that was a close rejection for a conference (but he is going to do some improvement on it and then send it of the a journal)
And this is also good news, since he is going to the US, to talk about a possible cooperation for a few months. He could learn a lot there and also this will help him, after his phd to stay into research.
He's ok. Nothing yet though. He's waiting on the outcome of some more grant applications which he should get in the summer and he's going to apply for a job in Edinburgh, so we'll see. (((Mr. Sam)))

it is a jinxed town
I've been there three times in my life
first time as a sprog I nearly drowned in the sea
second time I was there was on a Union conference and I got run over by a police car and broke my leg and collar bone
third time I was there was with ex gf and another colleague and in an extremely bizarre accident we nearly killed all three of the clients with us
Blinkin' 'ell Yeo, don't go within a 10 mile radius of the place!!!!
"traditional name research could well have meant that names like Hob-nobs or Virgin would never have seen the light of day"
I had the worst vom attack I have ever had in Bournemouth (no had not been drinking) and vommed non stop for 24 hours
am never eating braised celery again
who would have thought that literary research would have thrown up such pearls?

although am disappointed that they don't mention 3in1 oil
got there
walked about
had fish and chips
went home
