GO - these are proper clubs supported by proper fans, not fickle glory hunters. Good luck to them.
Muppet.
Ball number 50 is the one to look out for, I tell you.Even if we are part time!
* can you spot the joker trying to cause a fight! *
p.s. thanks for the reply on my running query!
I confess to two of the above. Can you work out which two?
COME ON YOU LAMBS!!!
Are there no other non-league forumite fans out there?
Am I the only one flying the flag for us inbreds?
I know we have an AFC Wimbledon fan out there, and a Witton Albion one too, but is that it?
I've been present in the studio when they've made the FA Cup draw - the tension is unbearable, especially when the studio nearly catches fire!!!
May do Villa/Burnley now, and then get up to Chesterfield the next night.
I can feel a ground hop coming on next week!
:-)
Unless of course I'm on the road to Alty next Tuesday night for a replay.
52 to play at home. (and win).
So they're not even a deffo for a first round please??
Back to the FA Cup. It has to be anyone but Shrewsbury.
Anyone know where Alfreton is?
And we so wanted to win the LDV vans trophy to go with our European cups.
Other than that, hopefully the "mighty" Northampton Town will get a local derby against either Kettering, Rushden, Peterborough, or MK Dons.
Alfreton is in Derbyshire, just off junction 28 of the M1. Nearest town to my old home village.
I fully expected them to go out against Hereford, that is why I wasn't backing them.
I bet one thing most of those clubs have in common opposed to the Premiership glory clubs is that their attendances are increasing.
and thrash them
as always
cmon the Robins!!
Mind you there is that McD's and Burger King as you come in off the M180 into Grimsby:-)
And a load of fish and chip shops on the main road near Blundell Park!
have a look the next time you pop to blundell for the local derby against you boys (it'll only ever be in one of the cups!).
Alfreton have a massive ex-Tamworth contingent, not least of all the management team of Gary Mills ex Forest European Cup winner who singlehandedly turned Tamworth around and turned us in the right direction.
Of all the 'shock' results, theirs would be one of the least shocking.
Coops, you play for Cogenhoe?
Grimsby have a cracking side this year too, saw them a few weeks ago beating Derby in the cup.
But anyway, ball 50 is the one to watch for...
