I met Sharon Davies when I was at school. The Olympic Association or whatever it's called had sponsored runs for a couple of years to raise funds, and each participating school had a sporting "celebrity" turn up for the kids to have their photos with. The first year, we had Brian Jacks (one of my heroes when I was a kid). The second year, we had Sharon Davies. She was OK - all the lads were trying to be macho and tough-looking, but I just sort of slumped in the chair. She looked at me and said "Thank God not everyone here wants to be a poser". Which kind of endeared her to me. Of course, I now think she's one of the worst sports presenters on TV (though not as bad as Sally Gunnell).
Jeremy grew on me eventually - even in he did clock a faster time than me in FLM (but then again, there weren't many people that DIDN'T clock a faster time than me...).
I used to have a soft spot for Andy Crane, much more understated appeal than the obvious Philip Schofield, that spikey haired one off Blue Peter was quite nice, but didn't he get thrown off for taking drugs or something?
Brian Jax lives up the road from me, but is not the most popular of sorts since those lurid stories in the press a few years ago.
I think you must have a chance with Sue Barker, Pern - you share the same first name as Henny Penny, and your piccy shows the two of you were separated at birth.
Great kids tv gal of yesteryear must have been Sally James. Now it's got to be the above mentioned Connie. For a while last year I coudn't be prized away from watching the revamped show "How". Just goes to show that Gayle Mckena is not just a pretty face!
Do you remember Janet Ellis from Blue Peter ? Many moons ago. She is now seen on The Wright Stuff on Five. Now there is a woman who has got a certain something, yes she is the one for me.......
Funny how these 'lady' sprinters take to drugs isn't it - that Florence Joiner Griffiths died of drugs, I remember, when she was in her 30's - not even Marion Jones has come within a mile of Flo Jo's 100 metres record.
..wonder if there was a connection with evil substances??!
The Scotish girl who won silver in the Commonwealth 400m had a certain something. Ther is also the brunette who does the pit reports on the Superbikes prog, isn't she doing Treasure Hunt now? Taken over from Anneka Rice, more fond memories. Cat D, Edith Bowman, of R:SE fame. Will end up watching TV with the kids now, purely for research purposes only of course.
Methinks you're into 'girl next door' types with that selection.
There was a lass called Femi Oke who had a huge gob, (bit like Cat Deeley), who used to present the weather a year or two back, and recently I turned on the box and she was fronting a soft porn documentary.
'The weather' was never the same after Ian McAskill retired - now they're all marking time presenting it whilst looking to be spotted for Red Hot Dutch.
Femi Oke: I was an extra in a TV film a few years back, and the director told me about how he'd auditioned her - she turned up, sang "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star", and expected to get the part purely because she was Femi Oke and, therefore, a star.
Edith is the one on RI:SE, and I'd go for her too! I also like that Scottish one (Kate?) who does BBC kids' TV sometime, plus Gail Porter, and a whole host of others too numerous to mention!
On the sporting front, Paula R, the Scottish 400m one (Lee McConnell?), Denise Lewis, plus I used to rather fancy Katharine Merry. The female jumpers (long, triple and high) are often pretty tasty as well!
Must confess to also "watching" the Hoobs - it's low concentration TV for when I'm struggling to get ready for work. Not sure what it's got to do with fanciable TV personalities though?!?

Anyone for Jayne Middlemiss?
I think Sue Barker is the perfect example of what happens if you spend too long in the sun....

What did Brian Jacks get up to? I think I must have missed it.
But back to kids TV - there's a rather attractive young lady on Blue Peter these days - is it Connie or something???
Also agree with someone else's point about Sue Barker spending too much time out in the sun.

She didn't wear a bra and Tarrant used to throw cold water over her chest on a regular basis.
If I only knew then what I know now!
Woof! down boy grrrrrrrrr

Think Jolande Ceplak has potential, but trouble is, there's not much meat on any of them!
Think I'd rather have a date with Roger Black!
BTW, when's 'ur Brendan' going to get out of the armchair and lose some weight - he looked disgustingly unfit during the GNR transmission.
Also liked Katrina Krabbe but fear that due to her drug use,her beard might rub a bit.
During the euro championships he was seen to be confused as to who the gentleman was standing next to him.
It was only when the said man turned his back to him that Roger was heard to say,'Oh hello Micheal, how are you keeping'

Edith Bowman????
The biking brunette is Suzi Perry.

Iain
McConnell is the one
But I would be happy with Kirsty G.
'Feme Oke'
Are you not confusing this with a lady's sanitary product?
I know who Edith Bowman is - the question marks were just reflecting my shock at her being somebody's idea of a babe....
It's not very nice.
