Well what can you say, she was so focused and so fast. And what a quick recovery afterwards, it seemed like she'd just ran for a bus and wasn't even out of breath!!
Awesome! I haven't seen it yet, but it was *so* hot today, I thought "maybe not", but then I saw her time at the finish with Ndereba, the "challenger", three and a half minutes behind!
Way too hot thanks Smitch, no chance of 3:30, 3:45 looked on but the heat made me die around mile 18. Not too bad, but I was cramping badly. Given the heat I was pleased to manage sub 4:00 (did 3:54:30), but I'd have liked sub 3:45.
Pretty much everyone's times were down though - many by massive chunks.
I'm off for a quick sleep and then to watch the highlights for Paula!
Crikey well done! It looked quite warm out there. I was glued (not literally fortunately) to the TV. Have a good rest FR, you deserve it. Such a star!!! Can't wait to hear how everyone else got on. Hope you aren't too achey tomorrow S xx
