If you look at the Oxford Mail website there are some photos (only 34 of them though!).
Does anyone know where we can look at our times online if we can't get a copy of the newspaper? I know the town n gown website are going to post times, but not for 2 weeks!
53 is great, I was hoping to achieve anything under 60 mins. I have taken part in one race before and came in at 62:14, so my aim was to do under an hour. I only started running in Jan/Feb of this year so I'm only just getting to grips with times for races etc.
my injury .... where shall I start!! last year was a nightmare , starting with a badly twisted ankle in January, then bursitis at top of left leg, then top of right leg (after last years T&G), then last October had what I thought was shin splints, but then diagnosed as fibia stress fracture, which was healing in December ..... getting back into form now though (touch wood) ,, must be my age!!! ..... bet you wished you hadn't asked
My goodness, I'm surprised you wanted to carry on after all of that (had to look burstitis up on the web - sounds nasty!). One of my fears now is injury. I know it'll happen, I just hope I can be positive about it and view it just as a setback and not as 'The End'!
You did really well to do the whole race considering you've been nursing a multitude of injuries - how are you feeling today?
Edward, you are a popular guy today!! Well done on your fantatstic time! If you carry on as you've started you'll be doing 2:30 marathons before long!!!
I'm Jane Leckebusch, no:2327, time 48:30 ish, if you don't mind.......
I see you are a rower. Are you at the university by any chance?? I was twenty something years and five babies ago!! Would have been nice to have seen some of the old haunts on Sunday morning, but could see very little at all through my glasses...!
My official time is 48:45 which doesn't correspond either with the time it took me to get from the start to the finish line (48:00) or with the time on the clock when I finished (about 49:15ish). I've just checked with people in my running group and they're all saying the same (ie the time in the Mail just doesn't seem to be right however it was calculated).
Last year the chip time I got was exactly the same as the time on my watch. Could it be that last year's shoe chips were simply more accurate?
Lemony; agree there seems to be some discrepancy in times. My official time was +1 second from my watch so I'm not complaning.
Jane, your position was 809, time 49:04.
It seems the further back people were the more the time discrepancy appears...Jane did you have to wait for someone to wave the magic wand at the end? Paul Felton said they were just a backup....
I only had to wait a few seconds for someone to wave the wand, but my watch time was 48:32 and I didn't stop it immediately after crossing the line either!!
I think I'll go by my watch time though and not the chip!!

When will they be on the website? were any pics taken this year?
