My eldest daughter said she saw a programme the other day where five cups of tea a day was seen as too much. I drink five cups of tea before the day has hardly begun and I would imagine that during the day the tally is closer to twelve. Anybody else drink this much or do I really have to look at cutting down? I am training quite hard at the mo and wonder if less tea would actually make a difference to my fitness.

Plus maybe a litre and a half of squash, again fairly weak but just enough to take away the taste of plain water.
Very rarely drink coffee.
Tea is supposed to be quite good for you, isn't it? Mixed reports, but on balance its quite highly rated.

I use a huge mug, but only put one teabag in it.
So it's still one "dose" isnt it?
I can't drink a Malt out of an ordinary glass. It doesn't seem to taste the same and is just plain WRONG!!!

However, I'm now a convert to rooibos and get through 10 mugs at least every day
