Southwater Sprint Tri Relay
Hello!
Just in case anyone's not worked out what the "pirates for relays" thread is all about...
There's an excellent tri relay race held at Southwater Country Park, just South of Gatwick on 2nd September.
Teams of 3 compete. Each team member swims 400m in the lake, then does a 18km bike, then does a 3.8km run, then tags the next person in the team.
We've got at least 4 teams signed up to race already.
It's a fun non competitive leisure event.
Everyone's welcome... Some of our teams will be in pirate kit, some in Fetch shirts(?!) and some in civilian colours. The swim was wetsuit optional last year and the bike had a selection of racers, MTBs and hybrids. If you are interested then please let us know asap.

How long you've got to get fit depends on which leg you are on and who you are following (Green Eyes can start a 6 week plan about half an hour after Plum gets in the water)
