Always commando. But now when there is a wee chill might need to wrap up. Suppose cotton briefs will do the job of keeping things nice and cosy until i get warmed up.
Well she started it! Anyway, what response do people expect when they post questions about underwear on a forum? I was just amazed that the comments were so serious for so long. Anyway, to show I'm not a complete perv, here's a clean joke for you.
Head do some seamless undies that seem to be on offer (2 pairs/6quid) in every single tk maxx i end up in - they do the job, though i might have to get some more because i bung them in the wash with my colours and they're now a suspicious grey colour. Also, having HEAD in big letters on my pants is apparently quite cheeky. Girlfriend unimpressed...
I use the tri-suit with a t-shirt pulled over. It's an expensive piece of kit so I may as well use it while I got it! The t-shirt protects from windage and also avoids the wierd looks one gets in Scotland wearing a tri-suit!
I'm with Little Lizard on this one: nice comfy (& supportive) thong. Hom & Bruno Banani do nice wicking microfibre ones. See www.deadgoodundies.com. More support than nothing under tights & less material to bunch up than briefs or shorts.
commando in lycra, tried running shorts with the inner lining. and to be blunt i could never find one that contained. the lining was either too tight or too slack, either way i ended up running tackle out, now they just see the outline of said tackle.
i have found some paragon boxer shorts that are high wicking there great at there job but dont hold me in if i go faster than a jog , i saw some briefs somewhere which would be great cant find them now but they were the same stuff but breifs ( not the sexiest thing but practical) the other problem they were weird colors! no seriously ! they were german funny greens and oranges all off shades not normal.. but i want some anyone knows were i can get them let me know please or some nicely coloured ones would be better ( not that i'l be getting them out or anything) (just in case i get run over by a bus or sumat ! )
serious word of warning about the strings vest type short liners. friend of mine had his veg effectively grated to a bloody mess by these during a marathon a few years back around mile 20, not a pretty sight. Blood stains on your vest is bad enough, blood patches on ya shorts and a free wax is totally different.
if you're in France, Carrefour hypermarkets are selling a pack of 2 DIM seamless wicking material trunk style undercrackers for €17 (about £14). feel good but not tried them in anger on a run yet
aaaaaand - Decathlon have a similar style undercracker for a similar price which I also bought but as per the DIM, not tried in anger yet
ive just bought some umbro wicking boxers from sportsworld in newcastle, reduced to £7.49 a pair and they do them in black and white, tight fitting so nothing can move around and really good wicking properties. you can get them online from sportsdirect , ive never seen any this cheap before anywhere.
cheers guys sports direct didnt have what i wanted , niether did tj hughes , after a lot of searching and trying a couple of diferent ones iv now got some helly hansen huracaine windbriefs , their high wicking and wind proof from the front .. great product . bit dear at £15.00 a pop but the only place i found that has them is george fishers in keswick cumbria. the others that were ok were berghaus but the leg seams are a bit on the larger side so might chaf a little and falke make some but no one had my size in they looked really good .

Comments
Too much swingage for me. Have always worn underarmour shorts under my shorts
Pros - Wick brilliantly, stop thigh rub, antibacterial so they don't pong as bad after a long run and look good
Cons - Pricey at around 25 quid. (Nike to a similar thing at a tenner but don't wick as well)

A naughty strawberry!

My boyfriend has several pairs. His North face underpants are his favourite.
