There is another COmmando Challenge thread where Alan Hardy (the organiser) answers a lot of our questions, but I've lost it and with no search facility...
And not only that but if you enjoy it that much there is the equivalent on the Sunday but not 3 miles, it's 7!!! We haven't registered for this though just the 3 miles. YET!!!! I have convinced some of the members at my club who will be doing it too. Both days so I may stay on and do the two days!!!!
Well the Gurkhas last weekend were charming, well organised and never stopped smiling. I await the Marines with interest (last time I came across them they shouted a lot and I ended up crawling through a tunnel of icy cold water... sounds familiar?)
This is a team event, minimum of three per team. Crocked Knees is team number 2, and there are three of us.
The super-fit 'lads' here at work are putting together a team of about 8-10 people, I haven't dared ask their team name yet.
DPP, if you wanted to enter the Crocked Knees team then I suggest a politely worded email to Alan Hardy, who, to date, has seemed very helpful. I know it's a bit of extra admin for them, but it's also additional sponsorship (we each have to raise £15 minimum, and our finishing position is a perm of the team time and the amount of dosh handed in on the day).
You cant get rid of me that easily - but nice try.
Just picked up a couple of your queries: 1. You can add to or take away from any team simply by send me the details and any entry fees. 2. only joked - there wasnt a 2nd item.
Comments
thanks
