Hi Guys
I am training for a half marathon all seems to be going well till I reach the nine mile mark then I get a progressive knee pain. It has being diagnosed as Illotibial tract pain, and need to strengthen up quads, anybody know any good exercises to sort this, they also say that it is fatigue that brings this on, but i need to get the milage in to complete the half marathon.
I am not a natural long distance runner but would like to complete a marathon in the next 12 months.
Many thanks
Jim

JIm,
look at this thread I did a while back. I had ITBFS, caused by stiff sacro-iliac joint.
Need to work on glutes as well.....and stretch and stretch and stretch.
