I used to love Hollands chicken and mushroom pies
all pies, pastries, and turnover are welcome on this site - we bear no malice to anyone - even those cream horn efforts!
Cream horns mmmmm and flake cakes.... and hot sausage rolls....

For an expat who can't get his favourite Philps pasties (made in Hayle), the West Cornwall Pasty Co is a worthy alternative.
And as a self-respecting Cornishman and pasty connoisseur, I wouldn't touch a Ginsters pasty even if it were nestling seductively in a 40DD cleavage.
But, during a spell living in Rutland I did become partial to Melton Mowbray pork pies
