BBC weather site says it's looking good for Friday . I will be on leave that day, doing a 20 miler (ish) in the morning so I will sooooo deserve a nice picnic.
Friday 1st August unless anyone comes up with a better idea....
Go into Green Park just by the entrance to the tube, we usually meet off the path which runs diagonally from the coffee hut towards Buck House. We just pick a spot and sit there.
We just pick a spot and sit there. do we do eating and drinking or just sitting.

Is there a nearish offey, as I realy don't want to be drinking warm beer. and I don't want to be carring a shed load of drink and food halfway across town.
I'll have a wander round at lunchtime and see if there are any offies nearby.
I'm probably going to finish work before 4 tomorrow so if you see a dishevelled drunk bloke in our usual spot, shouting at passing prams and having deep-meaningfuls with the pigeons; that'll be me
Re: The offie. M&S didn't have much in the way of beer when I popped in. Their fridge was also a bit lacking in lagers etc. Hopefully it will be restocked by tomorrow. Loads of wine and fizz though. The only other place I passed on my way from Piccadilly was the Tesco Metro on the corner of Jermyn Street and Lower Regent Street....oh and a place called De Beers which looked promising.
