Not sure what I did but it bliddy hurt at the time. Managed to plod the 4 miles home which probably wasn't wise but little option as no money, no phone etc
I will go and have a quick shower before getting the sweetcorn out of the freezer (it was cheaper than the cheapest peas)
I always take a phone with me when I plod, TP, for occasions just such as you've experienced - once had to phone Mr ST and get him to come and pick me up when I had bad hurty foot
We had sweetcorn with our dinner tonight - I could have used some of yours by the sound of it
I always take my phone on long plods but this was just an 8 mile loop round the village & Agri College. I was exactly half way when it happened. Typical! I think I might start to take my phone on the shorter plods again.
ASDA basics sweetcorn (oft defrosted and refrozen, bag marked 'Do not eat') is being applied
Hope it's okay TP, that would be so unfair after all that training
<tops up rose all round>
Evening publand. We're now on holiday....for 24 hours. This was the only day we could both get in August, and the idea was that we'd spend the day playing in the sun and not house-bashing. I blame that intensely irritating and smiley BBC weather woman who gets even more irritatingly smiley the worse the forecast
"Gude morning, it's going to be absotutely atrocious today and the met office have issued a severe weather warning. Isobars packed tightly together blah blah blah. Still, not to worry because I have a stiffy mac on in a tasteless colour and am still wearing this annoying fixed grin........... and now back to you two"
I think the weatherwoman is wrong and it's going to be a lovely sunny day in HashLand tomorrow.
Do you think this glass of rose has gone to my head? Maybe better have a refill to see if I can forecast a sunny weekend for ST at the V Festival.
I don't really have anywhere to put my phone (please none of those sort of suggestions) as only one pair of shorts I have has a pocket .... and invariably they're in the wash.
If I carried a phone I know I'd take the early exit option. Yesterday I worked out a route after the meeting from hell in a differnt town, the idea being that it would help me wind down and be somewhere different to run
All true.... But the AA road atlas didn't show height contours and didn't have a pocked version to account for my hedgehog-like sense of direction, so my 5 mile gentle plot turned into an eight mile assault course, saved only by the embarrassing rubbish pumping out of the iplod.
My house.... we're in for nasty weather.
Tell em', Tom. I had a terrible urge to throw my knickers at passing motorists............
I can't have been that bad as I didn't have the urge to throw anything at passing motorists apart from murderous glances when they got too close on the busy bit without pavement. Knickers is expensive, I'd have to run after the motorist and ask for them back.
It is still bliddy sore but we'll see how it goes tomorrow.
Supposed to be the big 2-0 this weekend. I was quite looking forward to ticking off the milestone but will have to wait to see if it's up to it. I suppose it's all relative but now anything less than 10 feels like it's a short plod. I think there's little chance of the advent of Ultra Pink though ... I'm not liking it that much

TP I have rescued the last 4 squares of chocolate from the sweaty palms of the JARS boys and they are here for you if your hurty foot needs them!
Hashette.... Bon Vacances! ( Sounds like it is going quite well !!)
Evening Loon and ST too!
( and anybody else I have missed !)
Less rain here today ....could this be summer ?
Now JARS, am I the sort of person to deprive small boys of their chocolate?
<grabs chocolate and eats in one go>
Take it easy on that hurty foot for the next few days .
What kind of parent are you anyway? Giving chocolate to your children.
What a waste .... keep it for yourself
Evening All
I did a my first session of hill repeats today and I can now breathe out my ar*e.
Hows your heal TP.
Your really doing great on the training if your thinking that your "just " going out for a short 8M
