Do you know where (nearest village/town) on the canal the hard bit is (as regarding the bike) ? Is it near Hockley Heath ? (That's 16 miles along the canal from Stratford end)
Looking on map my run, and going from what someone said before about it being around 18/19 miles into the race, if that is roughly the right area to start then I will check that bit out.

Another reminder for those who are interested:
Stourbridge RC are putting on a coach & can transport runners between check-points.
Departing Stourbridge at 8am, we will drive to the start at Stratford Greenway, drop off 1st leg runners & pick up anyone for 2nd & 3rd legs.
Drive from start to check-point 1 to drop off 2nd leg runners.
Drive from check-point 1 to check-point 2 to drop off 3rd leg runners.
Back to check-point 1 to pick up first leg runners.
Back to check-point 2 to pick up 2nd leg runners.
Coach to Bourneville Club. (Those running 3rd leg will have to walk to club from finish).
For people travelling from Stourbridge the fee is £10. For those shuttling between check-points the fee is £2.
If anyone wants to use the coach, please send me an email.
Please note, we can not transport runners to the start from Bourneville.
