Just got rejected as well

Opened the front door and could see a largish parcel propped up outside the glass backdoor. Could tell what it was straightaway. At least I've got my "medium" fleece from bequeathing.......1 out of 2 years isn't that bad......Paris here I come!

Bad luck GTC. My contingency is Hamburg Marathon on the same date which looks like a really fast and mid sized race. In a beautiful City as well. Really want to get in to London though!

Are all the rejections so far bequeathers? I'd guess they would be a different production run to the accepts / rejects that just get the magazine.

I dont think I could raise the minimum sponsorship for a charity place. Marathon training will be enough of a challenge for me without the added stress of trying to raise large sums of money!

I ran for charity 2 years ago and so did my husband last year, it was tougher raising the money than doing the run. I think it will be harder now with the economy as it is, unless you have a company that will pledge half the money. Even I am thinking of trying a different marathon, and maybe get a more respectable time!!

This seems to be different from previous years. This time the bequeathers get to find out first when usually they find out last.

Only way I'm going to find out is if they take the worldpay payment, as I'm away from home for a couple of weeks.

It seems to be those who bequeathed that are finding out today that they were rejected. If you bequeathed and dont here anything today or 2mora I would say that sounds promising!

My OH bequeathed and got his fleece today. I didn't bequeath and haven't heard yet. I've had 3 rejections so expecting a 4th. still will be in the running clubs ballot for their tickets if not successful

Just looked at the email confirmation when I registered and my debit card expired in May...does that mean they wouldn't have been able to take my money? Sorry if someone has already asked this...

It also said that the 'agreement end date' is 7 October so I assume that is the latest they could take the money.

Why oh why do we all put ourselves through such agony with this process?
