Well not quite gone, half way out of the room . . I meant that you'd have to swerve if the Filbert tried to get out of the way to make sure you gottim!
It's just that you seemed quite anxious to lure Filbert up to the other side of Hadrian's Wall on the pretext that he'd be safe. And then whilst he was trotting around with a false sense of security you just might knock him down. But only of course if you had no choice . . in the interests of your own self preservation. I see that now . .
I'd be careful if I were you. There was a story in the Telegraph this week about a street which had been experiencing problems with vandals cutting the brake pipes on parked cars.
The local constabulary mounted an operation to catch the culprits and guess what they found?
Yes, foxes.
They aparently liked the taste of the brake fluid so much they were chewing through the pipes to get at it........
Anyway, it's time for bed (avoiding main roads and getting caught in headlights along the way).
Okay, I'm sorry, I don't know what's got into me. Last night I had people who wanted to eat me. Then there were those who wanted to run me down with cars.
I'm just a poor little fox, trying to bring the many, disparate elements of this forum together. I want only peace.
I'm afraid the old photo was causing me some problems with the darksiders. They thought that they could mock my furry features and threaten to do all manner of unspeakables to me.

. . altho you wouldn't want to damage those wheels of yours, would you?
it's been a long day, and as we've already established I am extremely old, so I'm off to find rest in the darkened room.
G'nite DD and WW, good to meet you.

Goodnight.

That'd help.
Ah well, I'm sure he'll turn up eventually.

The old pic just wasn't crafty enough.
