This looks nice and a lot will be trails but farily good ones. TB - Start and Finish are basically opposite sides of the car park. Not far away. In fact it is two laps anyway.
Could be tempted by this although I am due to be doing Cross Country the day before.
need advise, i dont run for a club or anything, but would like to entre this event, am i going to be surronded by super athletes and look a bit of a plonker!,
the distance will not be a problem, im relativley fit i think, but ultimatly would like to get into half marathons to progress to full marathons,
Not at all mate we have runners from 18 to 80 (actually one 85)
Runners who sub 1 hour some that touch 2 !!!
Come and have a chat with me I've just gone to the dark side (Ultra) I never believed I would ever do a half let alone a full marathon 6 now (with one I didn't complete because of injury during the race )
perfect, thanks, strangley enough it is ultra's that is going to be my final destination, i am looking at entering the jurassic coast challenge taking place in march, so will be training hard and getting in as many hard miles as possible between now and then, although it might be a touch ambitious i know but i like the challenge of it all!!
i currently run 7.5 miles hodd - ware and back along road and river in 1 hour dead, ( only just started running) so should be in goodish shape to complete the 10 miler. will you be painted up like your profile picture or will there be other ways to find you as you ould be the person to point me in the right direction on these things?
I tried a 10 miler yesterday for first time in yonks, a slow plod around and made it in around 1:25. PB is 1:11 so I'll be way off on Sunday but lets see if I can crack 1:20.
Have just this minute entered for this race, little bit worried not run a 10mile for a fair while, just been doing 6miles for the last 3 months, keep the legs ticking over. Hoping to finish in 1hr 40, not great to some i'm sure. But a finish all the same!!
i will be joining you then chris, thought i would get a few warm up miles in last night, not sure if thats a good idea, we will soon see on sunday, 5 miles in 40 minutes so pleased with that at the moment
im expecting the second 5 miles to be slower, just dont know what to expect but i am really looking foward to it, the weather outlook is very promising as well do it should be a good day.
do you have any ideas on how many entrants their have been so far?
I'll be wearing my Fetch top so I'll wave lol I'm somewhere near cardiac hill
Weather be perfect try for a negative/even split I do mine around 70 mins so I get to half way around 35/36 and then push the last 4/5 miles. Hopefully if I get fit again I should be quicker !!!
I'll be at the back as well, i'm just aiming to finish it, ran 5miles last night, felt good but the thought of 10 isn't making the body feel too good at the moment, mind you when starting the 2nd lap they'll be no turning back....head down and keep plodding along. Be happy with 1hr 40 to be honest as only just starting back into all this running malarky.

Course looks quite fast
Apart from the hill up past the monastary - although the downhill into Bengeo should make up for it.
I am v under trained.
My clubs race just in case you missed it deadline 3rd Oct
You get me 'encouraging you all the way round'

My position is gonna be marshalling on one of the junctions on Park Road (or is it Ware Park Road ?) after Bardons Farm but before Cardiac Hill.
Not sure exactly where that is but I know its not near the finish about 2-3 miles away be sure to shout out to me when passing if not too breathless
Yikes ive entered but not sure why lol! ive done this route before but not twice! should be fun ! it's all in the head! see you at the back guys! lol
