I'm struggling for an Xmas present for my older brother, who's a very very good triathlete, and was wondering if anyone could recommend any good books he might enjoy - related to running or triathlon, of course, but could be of any nature: technical, (auto)biography, whatever...
Thanks in advance

"The lore of running" has pretty much everything you ever need to know about running, its massive.
Also "Sports nutrition" is a good book.
Its Not About the Bike - Lance Armstrong (once a tri-athlete)
Ultra Man by Dean Karnazes
Or how about a magazine subscription for a Tri magazine?
Just remembered this one.
It's a bit tounge in cheek, but enjoyable with it.
Just ordered a couple of the above for OH for christmas, thanks chaps.
SJ
Yep thanks
I think the one recommended by Nick L is going on my Christmas list.
Lance armstrongs books are fab
There's the new mark cavendish biography which is also good
Traditional paula radcliffe or kally holmes bios
Chi running by danny dreyer is good too.
But nothing beats the lore of running for content- brilliant.
I've just finished reading More Fire. It contains biographical details and some training background information on some of the greats (also some up and coming atheletes) of Kenyan running. Some of the stories are incredible, such as Martin Lel who before running was living on the streets.
More details canbe seen here More Fire
Timeout, I've just ordered that for MY brother, looks really good.
Might put the Lore of Running on my list.
This is a good ' en bit controversial though good science behind too
Brainy bofffffin book
