Long day in work, one person was off sick, so I volunteered to stay till end of day with the O/M. Got home at 4:30 instead of 3:15, and no-one noticed I was late.
evening I really should have gone running tonight but I am tired and cba...in fact in truth I am not liking this winter marathon training, why can't VLM be in the autumn so I can do my 20 milers in the sun? At the moment I feel like defering and cincentrating on shorter stuff...but maybe tomorrow I'll feel differently...
Sorry for that rambly grumble...I'll feel better after a good night's sleep
btw marmite is gawjuss - marmite on buttered toast is one of my favouritest things, and with cheese on top is great too - yummy
I wimped out of my run tonight B for much the same reason. I'm going to do my 8 miles tomorrow instead and try to change to a Mon/Wed/Sat schedule from now on. Friday nights are just not right for me and running.
You will wake up feeling all refreshed and full of bounce tomorrow B
Kwilter, I've just signed up for that knitting website. I was hunting round the free patters and there are ones on offer for willy shaped chapstick covers and for a knitted cover for and <ahem> battery powered device ... have I stumbled into a den of purl porn
Knit them...I'll wear them. There is your challenge!
Sooooooo tempting. I assume there will be photos?
I'd pay to see the pictures!!
I've had a lovely lunch with an attractive lady! Too full to have any supper. The boys have arrived and been fed. Playstation on in the background and I've got the mother of all ironing mountains to tackle!
Still, the good news is it's been more than three weeks without booze, crisps, biscuits and chocolate! I'm nearly a stone lighter. I have also put off this evenings run.
Mr.W, I need your advice. I've purchased one of those Forerunner 50 thingys but am not sure how to set it up!
It's OK, that was me so nobody is going to be going to bed alarmed in knitters world tonight
I've been off booze and crisps for 3 weeks. Don't think I've shifted an ounce. PS is obviously losing my weight as well. I even gave up chocklit & biccys for the first 2 weeks. No good can come of such things I fear.
Not lying in but it's just taken me ages to read back, and it's only been a cople of days. I love this kitchen, it goes from running to chocolate via knitted knickers. I mean, where else would you get this kind of fabness?
Safe journey Beebs
Hope you got your mojo back this morning B, but if not don't fret about it, you're way ahead of at least one VLM hopeful
Fab news on the weight loss PS, well done
Bob the builder's apprentice here is going to try to help tackle skimming over plaster today, this should be a laugh. We've got one good leg each, he can't stand on his long enough to do it, so it's going to be a combination of me mixing the chocolate cake - sorry, I mean plaster - until it gets to Delia-style stiff peaks, somehow us dragging the bucket in, him spreading it as far as he can, and me "helping" under direction. Expect a relief map of the hymalayas in the hallway!
Under his supervision Hash, it'll be fine! From what I know about plastering (very little) you just have to keep 'polishing' it with the trowel to get it flat! Good luck!
I shall be popping out for a trundle in a bit, while the boys are asleep!

Good luck with the plastering Hash!
Plastering is well beyond than my range of skills so good luck with it Hash.
To plod or not to plod, that is the question. Whether to risk getting a soaking as it's overcast or defeat this by waiting until tomorrow .......
