We had sleety snow here at work on the edge of the Saddleworth moors this morning, it felt like February. I am officially bored of this weather now. It's my birthday on Friday and it's always nice on my birthday, it's the law.
I wouldn't be moaning if it was blisteringly hot Puffin. I like running in hot weather. I wouldn't feel so nervous about my upcoming Friday OW swim either.
I have an undiagnosed RSI-type summat-or-other (test show it's not Raynauds, carpal tunnel syndrome or umpteen other conditions the doctors thought it was) which means - along with a load of other symptoms - I'm constantly getting numb fingers and toes and chillblains when it's only even vaguely cold.
I want the feeling back in my extremities please!
I should not be wearing thermal underwear, gloves and a hat indoors in May!
Hail and snow showers on and off all day here too - I'm about 90 miles south of Nessie. Bloody ridiculous weather but at least it was lovely at the weekend so took my bike out and didn't make the planned trip to garden centre for plants .... they'd have frozen to shrivels in this!
Frost warning light flashing on a May morning <shakes head> world's gone mad.

blimey, I was grumbling because there is a cold wind
It's a beautiful day in zunny Devon today but the old boys in the post office were talking of frost later in the week.
Enough is enough!
Was minus summat last night here. Bitingly cold wind.
And we've run out of oil...
Chilly here in Glasgow, but no sign of snow.
Hope it clears up in time for the Cape Wrath Challenge ...dont fancy that boat crossing in a blizzard .
Where are you Nessie? Inverness?
Yes, TP, I am.
Snow has stopped now, and it's brightening up. Still effing cold though.
It was quite nice here on Saturday too, runner32. I even planted out some bedding plants.
Can't see them lasting. Maybe I should post them to you.
Forecast is for a frost tonight in Oxfordshire, the seasons seem to ahve got all confused this year and have forgotten to do summer!!
Still we'd only be moaning if it was blisteringly hot!
I'm really fed up with it.

My spuds aren't growing either!

Yup, I got snowed on yesterday during my run - ok, it was on a hill above 2,000ft, but still not what I was expecting, even for Scotland.
Having said that, I was caught in a Scottish blizzard a few years ago - in June.
