Did it, loved all 3, will do it again next year! Still don't like beer, and medal not quite up to Spitfire chunkiness but hey, I got 3 bloody great hills and fab scenery. (and I managed to rate both the 2010 and the nonexistant 2009 race - whoops!!) will try and do the Badger next year for 2 miles less and the t shirt
I'm just back from Oz, so I missed the whole thing. Sounds like it was a fantastic event, which inspired the vast majority of people who ran it, and which, despite the enormous number of challenges presented to the organisers, went very well all things considered.
Having organised plenty of races in the area, I can tell you that course marking is the most difficult aspect of all... the locals are crazily efficient at taking down ('tidying up') anything that you put up to help guide runners. Bless them all. Grrr.
I hope Alan and Nicky won't be put off by the intemperate (and now thankfully retracted) comments of a minority of stressed-out racers. I know how much effort, thought, sweat, sleeplessness and stress goes into these events. As many runners commented, this has the possibility of becoming a classic. A few niggles are not significant in the scheme of things.

really enjoyed the race. thank you very much!
I enjoyed the elements of the knacker cracker, fire station 10k, and the bookham 10k too.
Bravo
Definately set to become a 'must-do'

I was third! Third last - do I get I prize?
Oh bugger checked the results again - I was fourth last not third - no prize for me.
Well done on the donations to Charity.

Coming third does count, once we've found a couple of missing results in the words of IACGMOOH it might be you...
