Proper Fueling During Endurance Events I am keen to experiment with ingesting protein in addition to carbs on my long runs. However, my a quick Google search didn't throw up any links for suitable products...
Does anyone know of any protein gels, or carbs + protein gels, that are suitable for use DURING exercise, and are available in the UK?

Perhaps you can get protein in a capsule / tablet form which you could take with a gel like SiS's Go? All the soy protein products that my Google searches come up with seem to be in powder form...
No idea about the protein/carbs ratio but I use high 5 gels. The isotonic SiS products sound good in that you do not need to drink water with them but they are simply too large for me to carry when racing marathon hence opted for high 5.
