I started watching the BBC series last night because I have it on DVD and I have run out of Lost (watched the series twice and giving it a break before going back).
I have decided to move back to the UK in the future.
Who wants to sponsor me?
KK - those pics that you keep posting on FB make me think I may want to move down near you
Comments
I hate to spoil your illusions but people don't wear corsets in the UK any more, and I've never once walked out of a lake fully clothed. Also, it rains here all the time. They don't tell you that in period dramas, do they!
I'll sponsor you - 50p a mile.
I did live there for a few years... A story we shall not go into here as to WHY I left
But I accept your 50p a mile.
That's what 11000 miles from SA to UK - that's GBP5500
Ta - that could be my first month without work
Actually underwear as outerwear is very big this year...check it out
The corset is making a comeback
I'll have to dig out the old Superman outfit then.
PO - Do it as a swim/run duathlon and the money's yours. x
Ok thus far have GBP11000 - this getting exciting. Didn't know y'all wanted me back so much!
I would happy to run/swim/bike/fly to the UK with my GBP11000
Will spend time flitting between Devon and ooooop norf
Now who'll sponsor the Border Agency to keep the pesky Saffer out
I always thought that was where they filmed Eastenders. But then someone said it a completely imaginary place (would have to be with those characters).
I also just thought there was a problem pronoucing the name...
Well hello Barley!
Sure - I can send loads of piccies of me with clothes on for a squids each!
*notes no one sponsoring border agency...HAR HAR*
The place where they film Eastenders isn't imaginary otherwise it would never actually get made. Which may be a good thing.
Stay in SA Plod. That way you can romanticise about good old Blighty rather being here and slagging it off
BTW - you know the Devon and Yorkshire are nowhere near Earls Court don't you?
Insane asylum or just asylum?
I think BDB (you smart arse) that moaning about the country we live in is priority. Otherwise, we would all be happy and there would be no wars
Insane asylum obviously
Hatch End (London Borough of Harrow) is 3 train stops away so nearly but not quite
BTW most Americans can't point to Canada on a map so it could be a good deal worse
Obviously...
Else what's the frickin point?!!
You can count on me Plod
Would be lovely to have another beer with you if you make it back.
Watford is inside the M25 and on the end of a tube line, so for the non-London initiated it probably does look like it's in London. They also (somehow) manage to call Luton airport "London Luton" which would suggest that Watford, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead, Welwyn and Luton are all in London too.
I thought St Albans was a London slum clearance dispersal zone, certainly attracts the lower class of chavette
You're not thinking of Watford Gap are you?
BB - St Albans is certainly not a slum, quite a stuck up area actually!
