Hi Guys
Just want to say that spaces are filling up fast for this great flat 10k held on Bank Holiday Monday 2nd May, in the heart of Norfolk
Online entries are here http://www.thetford-ac.co.uk/breckland10k.html
There will be a hog roast and a kids fun run.
For some reason (at the time of writing , I have emailed RW several times asking them if they can sort it) the comments and ratings from previos years haven't linked to this year's race, so here is the link http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/events/ratingsall.asp?sp=&v=2&ugn=4226&en=54047
Thank you

So
Who fanicies this then
Cheers
Yay...good show Rick
I am rather excited as the trophies turned up today along with lots of other bits. looking forward to getting home so I can have a drool (the only time I will ever hold a winners trophy)
Lol,
I done it last year, it was my first ever race! Since then i've done 3 other 10k's and a half marathon and also been injured. Are there any finishers momentoes this year?
Hi Rick
Yes, we have a great momento this year. As usual it something practical rather than a medal or tee. I hope you like it!
Cool, I like this race, quite low key but a nice course and the added bonus of our friends living in Croxton
BREAKING NEWS (sorry couldn't resist)
There will be a limited number of "on the day" entries available this year if the entry limit (350) has not been reached
Entry fees will be £12 for attached runners and £14 for unattached.
To guarantee entry it is advisable to enter online at www.thetford-ac.co.uk beforehand (plus it's a bit cheaper - the £2 you save could go towards a litre and a bit of petrol, or half a pint of beer, or a very nasty bottle of wine, or a nice big bar of chocolate for me, your resident race director)
I will go now
Thank you
I was surprised to see places still available so near to the event, very rare for this race!
Cheers,
SS.
68 places left as off this morning!!
SS- the reason we have spaces left is that we went to online entries only this year for the first time, so I am guessing we have lost a few regulars that only like to enter races by post.
Plus...Maybe people are taking advantage of the extra holiday and going away..who knows. Hope to see you there
Yeah I reckon loads are away, their loss
Online entry is great isnt it, makes it all so much easier. Everyone can enter online as they can use library computers if they do not have one, or must know at least one person that has a credit/debit card if they do not have one. It is definitely the way to go.
I told a few people at Trowse yesterday you still had places, and they said they had not even looked as assumed they had missed out, so think come Thursday it could still be full before the day, with the last minute rush too.
SS.
Hey Suffolk swift,
I was at Trowse yesterday, that hill was a killer and it was quite hot too!! yet today theres a very nice breeze
Yes I survived it on the first lap, but suffered it on the second, took just over 42 mins, which I would hope to be a lot quicker on this great course.
SS
I love this event, can ya tell.
SS.
I love the course too SS, so much that I did it 3 times as part of my 22 mile run for the Brighton Marathon
Blimey...it's gone mad today for entries!!
Only 46 places left!
Enter sooner rather than later guys
You will have very very few on the day places left......

SS.
LOL...I saw your entry (I get an email each time someone enters - I am not stalking you - honest)
As the lovely SS says, 35 places left so on the day entry is now looking unlikely so DON'T DELAY...ENTER TODAY!!!
Come on guys and girls, 34 places to go!!
SS.
This is an excellent race if anyone is looking at trying their first 10k, I know as it was my first last year
It doesn't look like you have the 'message member' option active on your profile?
SS.
OK, I got it. Try now, if you would please?
If you are entering on the day (if places left) get there early I reckon!!!
