I thought cyclists also shaved their legs so that bandages and scabs are less painful to remove after crashes. Would hope that's not so much of an issue for runners unless you're particularly accident-prone.
But when they retire, do they end up with legs like wookies'?
Didn't Andre Agassi remove all his body hair before winning Wimbledon? I always wondered why he did that, but then it turned out he was on crystal meth
I don' think the ladieez are too ken on men who have clean shaven legs with better calf muscles than themselves! Purely anecdotal but I think they prefer the fur - on their men of course.

Some of the women might.
Maybe not the Eastern Europeans?

Cyclists do it to make the post ride rub down easier, suppose the same coule be said for athletes
and for aesthetics too.

Saps your virility? I like my shaved legs and they feel much better when it's hot. I'm thinking of shaving my arms if the temperature goes over 30CUse cream to remove it.
Its for massage reasons plus road rash reasons. Biggest reason it just looks dammed good.

If you start out looking like a wookie then maybe shaving has an advantage.
