actually the start time has been rolled back from 6am to 8am ! Because of the current !! Not sure if that is to wait until the current is stronger or weaker !
2 laps of the swim (1M), 2 laps on the bike (43M) of the Lepe, Exbury loop that was on last years Swashbuckler route and then an 11M run, which is 3 laps of the woodland trail to T1/T2 at Bucklers Hard.
I drove the bike route last week to make a not of a suitable ditch to have a lay down in like I did in May !
The current was mad ! (Arguably) worse than the May 2010 Swash, and it rained so hard that I got wetter on the bike and run than in the swim. Both had upstream sections.
Can't help thinking the NF team are reading tide tables wrong if they moved the start from 6am to 8am and still managed to find the strongest tidal flow. Shame really.
Perhaps I wont try this one, despite the lovely bike leg, but try one of the Ellingham ones instead.

Sadly not me, cos it clashes with Vit.

Looks like we all picked the wrong buckle to swash.
Bet the sun shines too
the sun never shone until I was driving home !

Made it to the finish though !
