It was pretty cold when we set off this year, I think, but don't remember much wetness...
Meldy, I guess it was obvious you'd be "in the know"! I've been in plaster this week because I knackered a tendon (FHL if you're interested) last Saturday doing inappropriately steep hill reps (and possibly by following it with strangulation by wrinkled calfguard). I couldn't really walk on Monday so had to get plastered to do the day's work. There's been a dramatic improvement in the last 36 hrs, and although it looks bad it feels loads better, & I'm walking normally this evening. So if I can cycle & run at all by Friday night I'll be at Box Hill on Saturday. Will probably come to the pool on Friday too, but probably do very little as it feels as though swimming may not work.
...just remembered. Wasn't it C100 that ended in torrential rain ?!!
Gosh !! You take it easy young lady .... I would not think that Box Hill was advisable??
It was effing cold this year and I shoehorned myself out of bed to come and watch the start and half way point, afraid I dont remember what it was like later on but it wasnt our usual heat wave !!

That's because you finished so quickly! Be careful with that tendon.... you've got a few hills on Saturday so it would replicate the conditions that caused the problem in the first place... <insert worried smiley>

Thanks for the concerned comments re tendon trouble. I had a kind colleague do an ultrasound yesterday, so I know the tendon itself is intact, and my ankle specialist colleague says they rarely go ping. The main risk is making it more chronic by running when it's still surrounded in gunk, but it's the end of the season and I didn't have much planned after Ballbuster.....
You could be right Troggs although we enter under PSOF
Last year was a bit confusing as we had team names and yet still entered individually? I dont know if they keep back an amount of numbers dependant on the 'reegistered interest'
Stick your name on the list anyway and we'll sort it out come January

What the heck, nothing else planned for that weekend!!
Might be interested ..... but only in the medio or corto which, if I remember rightly, don't count towards team numbers.
