Hiya, am the new kid on the block sent to koin you late as ever
Name - Ann
Number - its at home I'm at work
Wearing - stroke associaiton vest with my name on - prob some sort of silly hat and face paint if I can be bothered on the day (and the rain doesn't wash it off)
Time - very slow - about 4-4.5 hours (us big girls should get ahead start we carry extra weight or everyone else should carry weights to make it fair!)
will prob drop something off sat morning - seem to remember in 2007 I craved white bread and butter - also you lot made me laugh which was great - if you could run with me the rest of the way that would be great to or at least until the embankment
Good luck to all the runners - many many thanks to the supporters and see you all on sunday
I can't rememeber any loos nearby apart from asdas.......there was a few bushes in the park nearby that i had to avail myself of last year
not long to go......must think about packing sometime....its amazing how laid back i am feeling.the difference between going to a marathon to get a PB and just going to do it as a training run.....no pressure involved.....but also i won't get that satisfaction when i cross the line of pushing myself to the limit..
for all those first timers.enjoy and work through the tough times .the finish line will be worth it what ever your time.....
Quick reminder to anyone leaving stuff at the RW stand that you need to mark RW on it as well as the other name/number info as the Fetchies also leave stuff at the stand and we don't want our jelly babies going over to the 'other side'
Wearing: All black with Orange Leukaemia CARE vest on top
Requests: Smile, hug, general encouragement and a diet coke if there's one going!!
Hi Guys,
Not sure what's going to happen on Sun, training's been ok compared to last time when I was constantly injured but there have been a few trials and tribulations along the way in real life!!
Proper excited now though and cant wait to arrive in LDN tomorrow.
Comments
five minute walk
cheers RR
And with any luck there will be a small bank of portaloos between us and ASDA.
i was going to ask that
so, if and when we arrive,
so as we dont have to wait for Azda to open we can walk to those loosafter we've had breaky and meds
what sort of time will they close off east ferry rd ??
Sorry Mick, I've basically no idea about the street names or traffic. I arrive by DLR, leave by DLR and can just about find my way to ASDA and back.
ASDA opens at 11 on Sunday.
Thanks
my wife asked me just now why i was laughing
i said, thers someone online called Running Rodent
i said can imagine this thing running around Mudchute and were all chasing it
it looks up at us, and says
ahh, whats up doc

Hope it gets there ok.
