Having registered online will I receive any info through the post that includes details of the start location etc as the confirmation email after registering online tells you very little as does the company website.
I too registered online & yes their website is pretty rubbish, but I've found out some details on a few other sites tbh. The location is Peckham Rye Park, I don't know the exact start details or the route, & I live in East London so I don't know the area at all, I'm guessing it won't be hard to find once you get to the park.
I registered online and money has been deducted from my Bank Account, I did receive an email confirming that my entry has been accepted, quoting my unique reference number and a link to a static website (MCC Promotions) with little or no information. No further information from the organisers .... Roadkill, thanks very much for the route map. Mr David Nudelman you need to upgrade your website and look at the way the information for the event run is disseminated as it seems a lot of runners are in the dark. I will be at car park in Strakers Road at 10am.
Hi am David Nudelman, I have no relationship with the Website or with the event!I also agree that more information needs to be provided in advanc. The website for MCC is very very poor.
I posted the info here. This info was obtained from the organizers.
Thanks David, I am very sorry for implicating you as you were just passing information that should have been made avaliable. I have arrived there already and it seems everything is well organised. Although there was a slight hiccup on finding my name.i am sure lessons have been learned
I''d be keen to know as well, the link from the Southern Running Guide doesn't work either. I heard the organiser say this morning they would be on "their" website, but what this is I've no idea
I will be very surprised if they post the results. The entire event was shambolic and half-hearted, at best. I ran in the Frimley Park 10km this morning and what a contrast! For a couple of pounds more we had chip timing, an SMS results option, and happy smiling marshals. And water at the finsh...
i done my 1st 10k rac at peckham rye on the 5th of may 2012 my legs are still hurting lol any1 no when the race times are up on this sitr or another site
Does anyone have an idea of where(When/if) we will be able to see results of this race??? Come on organisers this is your chance to redeem yourself and let us know how we did!
I emailed the organiser directly on Sun to ask when the results would be up & he replied yesterday saying due to them being sent the wrong names from RW that the results would be another 24 hours, which makes them due today, although I did ask where they would be & he didn't say. So it sounds like they're doing it at some point at least
So you had direct communication with the race director two days after the race and he couldn't tell you where or when the results of the race would be up. Sounds like a bloody shambles - shame really cos this is a very local race to me and I'd always be up for a local race, no matter how low-key, but this sounds like one to avoid.
Apologies for the difficulties at registration we had issues with the names from runners world. Due to this the results are taking longer than usual, they will be posted today on the website www.mccpromotions.com . The results will be listed with runners numbers if you can not remember your number then please email through to smukdesign@gmail.com with your query and we will endeavour to help.
Sorry for the delay again and thank you very much for your patience
Thanks for sorting out the results - I forgot my watch on the day so am really chuffed to get my time (finally!). It's a local run for me, so the organisational mishap won't put me off for next year.
This was my first proper 10km and I really enjoyed it. The lack of immediate time feedback didn't bother me so much as I was using an app on my phone but I can see why it would bother some runners.
My main complaint was the terrible "bag storage" which was just leaving them all in an unstaffed pile. Nobody was tagging them with people's bib numbers or anything so you just had to rely on nobody picking yours up. it made people head straight to get them once they'd finished instead of waiting to cheer on remaining runners, which was a shame.

If you take the bus 12 or 197 from peckham rye station, you should get off in barry road/peckham rye. Then you can see the park, and running people.

MCC
Thank you for the clarification Mark.
Close but no cigar. I just went on the site clicked on the Peckham Results link & it's not working (tried several browsers)
I couldn't find a link at all.
I take that back, after several attempts & now using Firefox, it's working
This worked for me eventually, but as I say only in Firefox not IE or Chrome
