On Sunday there was the annual World Naked Bike Ride through Brighton centre and along part of the seafront. Conservative councillor Dawn Bartlett said "I'm glad it rained" "I don't think they should be doing it along the seafront as there are kids down there" "It's not right. If they want to be exhibtionists they should go over the South Downs". I have my views but What do you think?

I was out on the South Downs for a recovey run... any attractive females can be directed that way no problem. All the others should stay at sea level and scare the kids.
If he thinks that one's surprising he should try the London one, goes right through massive tourist fuelled places like Oxford Street, at peak times!
No doubt the message of the event is noble, but it generally becomes a haven for exhibitionists and voyeurs!
It's the usual British attitude to nudity - that laydees and children would/should be shocked/frightened/corrupted by the sight of a naked person.
Personally, I don't care if people want to cycle naked, but I don't fancy doing it myself.
Never mind the weather, that could be a very nasty case of road rash!
I heard Meldy and Holly did it.
Mean-spirited and inappropriately prudish.
The councillor, not Meldy and Holly. They're lovely.
so there are no children allowed on the downs are there
The idea of being exposed and having your nads and ass getting red raw on a bicycle seat is an odd appeal, but each to their own.
Was he offended by their helmets?
What Wilkie says: the naked human body is not sexual in itself - if you think is is then you're the one with dodgy thinking. Probably very significant that he was a Tory - councillor - he probably pays someone to spank him with a wet mackerel every Friday afternoon
Ha ha ha - love it
I did the Southampton ride last year, was a good laugh.
Very cold though
Move along nothing to see.....
Would have thought you'd be all over this with your name Bear?
