Doing the run brings my Half Mara closer by 3 weeks which is not good as I can do without the pressure. I *may* consider the swim but don't bank on it. Let me see how my injury bears up to training again
I would like to say yes, however i found out via Facebook
just a note to anyone who is still looking for places, whenever they annouce spare places and you go on to the site it says full, as it was about 10 mins ago, however I tried my luck and clicked on enter event and i got in.
If you are looking for notification on the site that there places still available you will not see any. Just click on enter event.
JC your up early for a Sat I hope to be a lot quicker overall. I plan to start in the middle of the swim and now that I know what the course is like, I plan to (hopefully) blast round the bike. Fingers crossed the weather will be better than it was at Dambuster!
Just to forewarn those of you who are planning to head north afterwards. The northbound A1 is due to be closed for bridge repair works at Grantham, between the A52 at Barrowby and the B1174 at the Gonerby services. The road is due to be closed from 20:00 on Saturday the 8th through to 12:00 on Sunday the 9th September, although fingers crossed they will open it before midday!! The official diversion route is via the A52 towards Nottingham the up the A46 to Newark!!!

Im always up early, training or not.
Your right about the weather, Dambuster was shocking. I have ordered blue skie and no wind, i hope you approve.
To my surprize I realized today this is only a month away! Strapped for cash so thinking of camping, what's the setup like and is it expensive?
I'm not camping, going to drive there on the morning but I live relatively close.
im coming from dublin. looking at flights and ferries it would be cheaper to swim!!
scrap that, I might have to camp, just seen the registration/start times!
Is there no list for entrants? I am coming along with hubby to support and can't wait.
