Melli, whats to say......... after the way you supported us round Nice I so wish we could be there to return the favour now. Asthma can scare the bejesus out of you, and it CAN and DOES kill people, so the important thing is you are OK.
If it is any consolation at all there are several pirates, myself included, who owe you, as they would not have finished their own race without your support. Come back stronger.

So in essence Melli is acetastic, and Roseys performance was apparently (according to my son) sick. This means really good by all accounts.
Nick - bloody well done - (as usual!!). Much respect that somebody with your talent is quite happy to associate themselves with a team that, to be honest, is essentially numpties (or is that just me?).
Emma - some days you are the bug and other days you are the windscreen - nobody needs to tell you how highly you are regarded by the other pirates. You have the ability to shine and will no doubt put today behind you and come back stronger and wiser. In the meantime I recommend beer - lots of it!!

back, still hurt, foot fecked but in physio in the morning, thanks v. much for the support, was a hard day mainly due to the weather and generally because a couple of us who were out together decided that this was the one to 'have a go at' for a fast time.
Weather wise, could we have gone faster, mmm, don't know considering 2 women broke the world record that would fly in the face of facts, for me I think having one of my mates appear 90 secs behind me at the 30km turnaround when I thought I had a few minutes gave me something extra I didn't know I had, and it wasn't EPO in his back pocket !! I didn't know I could hurt myself like that for so long, problem is now I know I can I will have to do that every time !!
The only bit I could do faster is ...... well maybe I will do a race report lol !! and bore the shite out of people.
Thanks once again for all of the support I thought about it on many occasions thinking I need to put a jolly roger marker in the floor at Roth and I think we managed that cheers for all the kind words xx
I won't speak for Melli as she will probably be along in her own time but just to say she is fine physically and probably has unfinished business in Roth .....
