Tonka don't be rude. Ditchy's new saddle injury is in her KNEE.
Lol! Not a new one sadly - knee pain that kept me out of running most of last year, had saddle too far back and it crunched going up a hill. Hoping it was just a twinge, found the old strapping and have it all trussed up, so hopefully it'll be fine. Anyway, have been told I'm too 'poor me' so that's enough of that!
I think Snorks should be on the list too. He's going to be arriving from somewhere rather more exotic than Stansted, but I'm pretty sure he's still doing it.
Just popping in to say good luck and go pirates to all heading to Roth, I still have fond memories of the trip to Frankfurt back in 06.
I'm entered into Ironman NZ (again) as I have a few goals I want to achieve and this will probably be my last before the biological clock gets the better of me. There's a tri club trip planned to Challenge Wanaka in January and they're trying to convince me to join a team as a runner (have done two marathons in the past two months).
Hope you all finish, and achieve everything you hope for. And paint the town yellow!!
Snorks now added to the list. Thank you JJ. Anyone else not racing under the PSOF/Pirate name?

I am off to get last minute bits & bobs, anyone need anything? Then will start piling up mountains of stuff. Then will realise it won't all fit in the car and wish we had an estate. Or a van. Thank goodness for the capsule wardrobe which takes up litte space as I am only allowed 1 square inch of baggage
Having felt sartorially ostracised for some years now, I have finally given in and shall this year be sporting ... a pair of those khaki cut-off cargo pants type things.
Petal has the pirate yellow shorts out I noticed this morning - last seen worn in Zurich last year. must be some event coming up......
now if my legs work next Sunday on the bike like they worked on Saturday then Messrs Iron Rose and Dr Mike may have me breathing up their arses - or not as the case maybe.... they did feel strong and I was climbing nicely in higher gears then normal.....
they felt shite for the run yesterday though - LOL!!
if things carry on the way they are I will be a little tired come Thursday. Not much sleep last night, I think the worst night so far and maybe one more left, our little Casper is going thru it but its the Calomine thats working, screaming the house down and then as you start to cover her in it there is a serene and trace like state that she gets to. bliss.
I have had to take the whole week off as Kelly has no holidays left and I work from home so can cover any issues from here.
Gentle ride over the weekend, legs felt heavy, FB, I think you have peaked too early mate lol
yeh - that was my worry!! it was one of those rides where everything felt good and I had to rein it back as I kept steaming away from P - she kept going on that I was going too quick but it actually felt easy. hey ho - Sunday will bring what it will..
We don't land in Munich until mid morning on Saturday and I'm not sure we'll get there on time. Would anyone be able to pick up our goodie bags etc for us?
Where's Wolfie? I need a daily weather report so's I can compare it to the ones on the interweb so's I can see how accurate the interweb is so's I can decide whether or not to pack for 40 degrees or 20.

Can't think about this time next week - am focusing on the Monday party instead!
