Merry cheesemas, Christmas or whatever you want to celebrate to one and all.
I have eaten and drunk.
Seen the BBC TV footage of the hotel they evacuated in Surrey and that was the road I got stuck on in the dark this morning, no wonder the traffic stopped.
Evening all. I cooked my first Christmas dinner today. (I normally get fed!) and although it took a full hour longer than planned it was fecking brilliant! Not just my opinion. Happy days to you all. Lots of love xx
Dinner for six yesterday, but I cooked enough for twenty... I did advise Daddy Bookworm that a 13lb turkey was on the large side. Turkey curry/pie/trifle for the foreseeable future.
I feel like poo this morning. Brave soldier face and strepsils at the ready
I'm off for a swim, or at least a dip in the waters. I may freeze. Extra layers needed. Anyone going to brave the sales today? I am not. Can't think of anything I'd like to do less. Guess if there are things you need and have been putting it off it's good.
Sarah was a trooper yesterday. I appear to have given her my man flu. Not braving the sales but noticed that halfords have a turbo trainer at £74 good deal if anyone wants one?
In mundane news I am dog sitting and coughing sulking a little. Bored now with the man flu.
Our power stayed on all day yesterday and the leaks stopped too. My christmas dinner was awesome and even more so as left-overs today. Mother ship departed this afternoon but then came back as she'd forgotten something but has definitely gone now. Her bouncy dog was much less bouncy this year and the whole experience was thoroughly enjoyable.
No way am I going near any shops anytime soon, that's for sure.
*bounces in dripping water everywhere* Hello Mundanies! I hope everyone had a lovely, cheese filled Christmas! I have just been for a run in the pouring rain and gale. It was exciting when the wind was behind me, I did not appreciate running straight into it for the last two miles.
I am worried that I don't know when our bin men are meant to be coming. I fear it may be when we are away tomorrow.
I am making worried noises. They sound a bit like this: Mmmmnnmnmnmnmnmnrrr
I have had a mundane day, after lunch instead of visiting relatives as planned, we went to the shops to look at a new oven for FiL and found the one he thought sounded OK and the control knobs are not too fiddly for him, just need him to agree to getting it delivered. He is blowing hot and cold, not wanting any fuss, but then moaning when things aren't right. Mr Steady is feeling rough, partly stressed out and partly he has eaten something that was not GF when it should have been.
Apart from my pedalling on the bike this morning I feel the day has been wasted.
Good to be back to normality - the one annoying thing at the moment is wanting to catch up on Doctor Who and Mrs Brown's Boys only to find them absent on BBCi player.
I feel fine, though my toes are going to fall off, I had stones embedded in the soles of my feet after last nights run and I fell over and have sore knees. All in a days work.

to leaks. I haven't ventured up into the loft to see if anywhere is getting wet.
I may make a hot toddy or mulled wine or something.
Think it's bath night.
Been to the supermarket, I thought it was going to be bonkers but it wasn't that bad at all.
The random blue bin on the pavement has been joined by another, I'm glad it isn't lonely any more.
Ah, blue bin love.
Merry Christmas one and all. I shall probably stop by tomorrow to empty the bins, eat the cheese and lick the marmite.
Hope you all have a good Christmas.

Happy Christmas everyone, I fell a bit scroogy though, it is feckin hard work today followed by a morning of cooking and serving.
Happy Christmas everyone - I have had a gin and a glass of wine.
Mini2 is poorly, hoping he has a better night and is recovered enough to open the ridiculous heap of presents we have next to the tree.
Merry Christmas one and all! And bah humbug for good measure. I'm exhausted!
+1!
Merry Christmas mundanies
Merry Mundane Christmas hope everyone has power and fuel?
Happy Cheesemass and Hagmass. Hope the Hogfather did whatever it is he does.
I'm knackered and I've done nothing. Still, the sun is shinning
I may make some rock snowballs today, or take a bath and find a good book to read. Or just go back to bed.

Good to hear success GFB for cooking dinner. Mine was a bit later than planned as the walk we went on took longer, but tasted great.
Feeling stuffed now, hope to get out for some exercise tomorrow.
Evening mundanies, dinner went well phew, but I got fed up with them all and went to bed till they went
Merry Boxing Day everyone!

Hope you all enjoy your well deserved time off.
Happy Christmas everyone!
We had a poorly Mini2 so it's been a very cuddly few days, only Mummy has been acceptable for 23 out of 24 hours per day.
Our bin isn't being emptied till next year, we are sending mummy KJ home with a bag of rubbish, we are spoiling her!
I need to get some more potatoes, the turkey is all eaten up, but I have plenty of other food left over.
Morning. I need to go food shopping today, I have tokens that need using up. I didn't go shopping before Christmas. It's rubbish out today.
*sniffle cough*
The bin men are due. I don't think they're coming.
We're having pork today.
I've just produced the largest Yule Log ever. Is Norris Dewar McWhirter contactable via a medium?

Hello Jersey Ninja, in answer to your Q. As it's not cheese or bin related, I don't know. Sorry.
My bin men are due tomorrow Madbee, you can put your rubbish with mine. I am going running tonight, so excited. It sounds like this weeeeeeeeeeeeee

That's certainly got to be one big yule log to beat the official record.

LR - worth a watch, but not my favourite http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/p01mj6k8/Doctor_Who_The_Time_of_the_Doctor/
I feel wretched
Hope you feel better soon Bookworm.

I need to go shopping. Stuff I need to buy.
