Good idea. Its really hard to feel aggrieved when the people who "win" these things are friends and you want them to do well. I don't think Rodale would ever pick me for the same reason but I simply won't enter their comps anymore because I think they should have done. I've never DNF'd and I can actually RUN and there is a little voice in the back of my head that says "we don't believe she runs at all"...
Paranoid? Maybe. Sulking? Not this time. I am CHUFFED to bits with those they've chosen - whoever they are. We're all still actually RUNNING these marathons remember! We already had them booked.
On top of that - I couldn't have done the choosing either! Too many worthy winners among that lot.

I'm glad we didn't have to pick too, in more than one category there were several people who I really, really wanted to win.
Still, the fact that I'm a losing loser and today being my last day of work before Christmas gives me just the excuse I need to get drunk!
Sorry that you were not chosen but I cant see you doing what Wifey tells you anyway !!!
