I know a lot of people here might sneer at this on but I tried to the kellogs thing for a week or so and it's really helped (a bowl for breakkie a bowl for lunch and dinner in the evening, suplemented with fruit ocasionally during the day - it's not recommended long term
What it's done for me has made me feel fuller sooner and not want so much during the day. I've stop sooner and eat less junk. Hopefully I can keep this up over time and when I slip just go back to cereal for a day or two.
It at least has plenty of carbs is low fat and comes with calcium rich milk.
WW - not with my dinners it doesn't lack calories )
Seriously kelloggs say do it for a maximun of a fortnight anyway. Plus there was no fast off thing just made me realise what I eat during the day and with such a sedentry job I don't need that much. It's not good when I swim in the morning either.
it's beer that does me in so I've moved to pimms & wine - not together
i tried the Kelloggs diet first time round and it made me hungry - i think because a lot of cereals are quite sugary and can cause a rapid surge in blood sugar then a fall - particularly things like special k - i can see that it might give people a bit of a boost but its the same old chestnut about rapid weight loss
but its probably quite good for peeps whose breakfast is a mars bar on the way to work then a danish at elevenses ' or people who dont have anything at all in the morning
bune - funny it helped me but just in a wake up call way. Like I've said it just made me realise how much I had been eating. I lost about 1-2lbs (hardly rapid) thats all & filled me up lovely. Then with me it's all in the mind either that or I should stop using the mixing bowl as a cereal bowl )
yes thats me too - cereal in a big bowl - i love cereal - porridge works best for me as its very filling
Jon - another example is 'bigorexia' when peeps like body builders think they are small when they are quite big ! (although that could be cos somethings shrink in proportion ! :-0)

... on second thoughts, go ahead )

Remember - fast off - fast on
A sustained weight loss of 1kg a week should be targeted utill you reach a good weight - but remeber you can be light but fat
Youve got that dysmorphism thing

When youre not!
bune I was a no breakfast kinda girl so maybe thats why it helped.
See you all tomorrow
At least 4 times
Breaky 500-600 cals
Lunch 700-800
Mids 400-800
Eves 600-700
If you train first think have a light 100cal snack befor training and a 500cal breaky afterwoulds
This sort of balance should provide a constant flow of energy and prevent feelings of hunger
Aslo you arnt eating huge meels in the eves before bed, thus sleep and recover better
