Ah, my card was 'compromised' in the past few days - I'd assumed that it was the NCP car park pay machine, but I'd also made a purchase from CRC.... Fortunately my bank spotted it straight away.....
Aha! I rarely order from t'internet but did so recently from Chain Reaction and my card details were used to purchase 'phone top-up, another small amount then an attempted sting of nearly £1,000 on which my card was declined and my bank called me. The bank's fraud dept are looking into it. I'll ring them about this.
I passed this round at work as well ... quite a few people had been done (ironically) yet the bank would not disclose to the owners where the fraud had occured so at least now they can narrow it down to CRC
Lets hope they get this sorted out .. would be a shame to see them go out of business
In fact, didnt Wiggle have similar issues a few years back?
IIRC a few peeps that had bought from Wiggle got stung, but Wiggle gave out strenuous denials and statements bigging up their security - so that'll be a 'yes' then
My card was cloned last week and I've never bought anything from CRC. Sounds very similar to this case though. I'd bought something via Wiggle and Amazon so guess it could have been either of those two.

Me also.
I ordered from CRC and received a clal from my card provider shortly afterwards. I didn't know it was CRC related though.

Kanga seems to know an awful lot about credit card fraud.
Kanga is shortly being deported to Oz.
Just saying.....
My bank has informed me this morning that several fraudalent transactions have gone through for mobile top up's over the past few days.
Coincidently I bought some chain lube from CRC's 10 days ago.
