Gas......Cheers mate, i'll proberbly take you up on your offer just depends on what my and Horse's OH's are doing /going. All being well I will be camping Sat night with Horse so could arrange things then.
Shas... you've got a damaged arm, I've got a gammy leg so I aint walking anywhere too far.
when i helped out in 2010, I got stuck on my own for about two hours with no-one around me waiting to be told I could leave. Luckily I had a book, but i have to admit i'm not keen to do that again! All the supporters had fecked off too, so was pretty dull. Schmunks do you know if we have to marshall other bits too? If we do, it would be good to do it in pairs at least to have some company.
Ltp, in 2010 we didnt have a large number of supporters so had to sent individuals out and only swapped them once, last year we had people in pairs and swapped them twice.
Also in 2010 we were kept at our positions for an hour longer than necessary as the organisers were missing a cyclist who it later was found out had been mixed up with a no participant or had chosen to stop?
Schmunkee is coordinating this year so expect everything to run like clockwork
Gas - oooooh exciting!! Have you put it up yet?? I suppose I need to consider this camping thing a bit more if I'm going to do this don't I..although I do have an air-bed so that's a start I suppose (although I don't have a pump for it )
From what I have been told by OSB, there are four feed stations; two on the southern loop and two on the northern loop. As you do two laps of the southern loop, there will be 6 feed stations in total
Cheers folks. If they're still the 1L bottles I reckon I might be alright with just the one mount on my aerobars... that behind-the-seat bracket is heavy.....

The last two years there have been crew t-shirts, the first year was a normal cotton t-shirt (but a nice one!) and last year was a hi vis tech t-shirt.

LtP - Yes, we may well have to marshall other bits too but last year it was done in 2's or 3's

What is this .. some sort of 'gentlemens' club ?
- beer/cider/Guinness
- thorntons
- frank / adriana
- pole
- enjoying the British weather
- wet kit

so 'Yes' was the short answer

I have a 2 man dome tent you can have for a £5 Shas. I also have one of those bed hand pumps you can have with it free.
I will be travelling up on the saturday by the way.
PM me on here if you want me to bring them. I will be putting them on Pirate sales soon.
Don't know where's best to ask this but figure somebody in here might have more idea than me...
Do we know how many feed stations there will be and how far apart yet? I tried looking on the OSB site and can't find it.
Trying to decide what to do in the way of bottle cages
In total I think youll pass 8 feedstations, they will be around every 10-15 miles.
I stand corrected
Good work Schmunkee
