Any recomendations on where to go for a decent bike fit ? . Looking for somewhere either in Essex , north Kent , or possibly Milton Keynes , but as others may be looking then probably worth posting any known gooduns . Cheers
I recently used Bespoke Cycling, Farringdon Road, London - maybe a mile (or two?) from Kings Cross train station... so probably not your first thought, but strangely convenient with rail links. Good set up (reutel 3d)
Jj (note correct use of capitalisation, is their a pirate friendly discount in addition to the very generous opportunity to have coffee with HGLAT (for the boys) and OC (for the girls)?
I was fitted to my TT bike, but I was fitted for both TT racing and triathlon, 2 sets of measurements for one bike. Bike Science Bristol, best money I've ever spent on the bike.
bike science bristol fitted me up free for the planet x when i bought it from them........brilliant job and i ride without back problems and without lady garden problems
I'd say is worth even if spending far less on a bike. IMO you can get more benefit from riding a cheaper bike correctly as can from buying a bike £150 more expensive!

Bespoke
You need Freespeed. 's in London, but we know the boss.

Tsk - still haven't figured out the new linky thing.
oooh I do have a new bike to be fitted JJ - she's all of three days old
Perhaps I should try Freespeed as I don't know if Bespoke will offer me a discount on a second bike
ooooooh - she pretty, Gastank!
Freespeed is grand, and anyone who informs me before they visit gets to meet me for coffee if I'm free. Two fab things for the price of one.
wish i'd known about that deal before using Bespoke... I mean that's what you call a deal breaker!
i had a fitting at freespeed,
they use retul as well - i think they are pretty damn good
did you get the Holly special?
nope
I work up the road though so I can do coffee as well!!!
prices are on the Freespeed link up there, ST. ^^
Obviously different companies will charge different prices. Probably.
My pooter does not like the link

Jj - the linky thing is weird now. Easiest to type the text, highlight it and then paste or copy the address into the address box
Freespeed
Yay, Holly's works
Gas, you win some, you lose some.
so did mine earlier! lol - hardly one of the more difficult Google searches, anyway.
But if you are gonna spend 2k on a bike ??150 is not a lot to make sure it fits.
I've been riding 20 years and thought i knew stuff but i was way out on my self fitted TT position.
I was way too low and too far back for IM

Question, if your lucky enough to have a road and a tri bike should you be fitted for both?
more so for the tri bike due it's more aggressive riding position

If you'll have long break you can try South Brooklyn and Long Island in New York, meet other bikers too.
Lovely thank you
